Symonne Stryjewski

Symonne Janessa Stryjewski is 10 years old, and is in 6th grade.  Last year, her favorite teachers were Mrs. Stubbs, Mrs. Clark, Mrs. White, Mrs. Snelling, and Mr. Amsterdam.  She lives with her mother, father, and one sibling.  She also enjoys seeing her best friends Maraki, Katie and Kelli, and her Aunts Debra and Rona.

Since studying under Mrs. Carroll, Symonne has performed in one recital in which she played Somewhere over the Rainbow (which is her favorite piece), "Alleluia" from Mozart's Exsultate Jubilate, and Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King".  She also participated in the National Piano Guild Auditions last spring.  Symonne also takes voice lessons, and longs to be a famous singer and pianist one day.  She is taking piano lessons so she can have another hobby, and hopefully receive a college scholarship when she is older.  Symonne's favorite composer is Mozart, and she is looking forward to singing and playing Handel's Hallelujah Chorus one day.

Besides music, Symonne enjoys movies and computers.  She loves chicken, pasta, rice, fries, chili, and chocolate cake.  She loves to visit Washington D. C., Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and the Stonecrest Mall video arcade.  She also loves Anguilla, St. Martin, and Puerto Rico.
