Welcome to the String Studio of Martha Lynn Carroll. 

In the String Studio, students of all ages learn a combination of music theory, history, ear-training, sight-reading, technique, scales, cadences, arpeggios, and repertoire from all music periods.  Typically, students practice anywhere from 3 to 20 pieces at one time, depending on individual rates of progress and level of advancement. 

Lesson fees cover one lesson per week, three recitals per year (summer's POPS concert, as well as autumn and spring), stickers, candy, practice prizes.

Students are requested they spend the appropriate practice time, according to age and level.
